That looks rad. I take it you managed to find a new tattoo parlor?

Chooch at Bayside Ink in Beachwood, NJ did my Crow. Here's his page: www.baysideinktat2.com/chooch.htmlHe was really nice, and suggested that I dock my iPod with a player there and play some TMBG, after I explained my tattoos. I didn't have a playlist prepared so I just played Flood. He liked it.

"In '07 and '08 I got my logos, and have since had an opportunity to flash my ankles at the Johns, who seemed impressed. "
Just out of curiosity, how did this come up? Were you at a show wearing shorts and doing the can-can? Were you at a signing and one John made an ankle joke to the other and you said, "speaking of ankles..."? (Please, please, please don't be offended by my ridiculousness. I don't mean this to be offensive in any way, I'm just genuinely curious and I'm picturing all sorts of scenarios because I'm easily amused and a little odd.)

Well okay.. I attended a special showing of Gigantic (A Tale of Two Johns) a couple of years back, which was followed by a Q&A session with John & John. After introducing the film, They didn't stick around to watch the movie with us but hung out in the cafe that they had there while we watched. I came out in the middle of the showing to use the restroom, and on my way back I stopped in the cafe to say hi and show them my ankles. The end.

Wait, are you the dude with Non LP Tracks? At the risk of sounding stupid, what on Earth does that mean?

Oh! Well that's quite cool. Though, at the risk of sounding even more stupid, what do you all mean when you say "LP" or "EP"?.. heh..I know I should know, but I don't..

there are some technicalities there, but for most purposes, an LP (long play) is a full length album whereas an EP (extended play) has fewer songs, but is longer than a single.
edit: you know what I didn't realise, I didn't realise that this question was not necessarily an open question. It probably was not my place to answer, but I don't want to just remove it. Because. Anyway disregard the above information.

Well, it was meant as an open question, so thanks for answering! I knew that on things like VHS recording modes there were Extended Play and Long Play, but I didn't know if the acronyms stood for the same things when it came to albums and recordings that everyone in this forum so frequently mentions. And I didn't know what it would pertain to if it did stand for the same thing, so your answer was quite helpful. :]
