We've been promised new songs at both Lupo's and Mohegan Sun next weekend! Who's excited? Me! Me! I can't wait to get a taste of the new material. Also, this brief interview from boston.com last weekend still gives hope of a 2010 release (though I'm still betting on next year). They apparently told the reporter the new album would either be out at the end of this year or the beginning of next and that they were going back into the studio yesterday to do some final recording and mixing. www.boston.com/ae/specials/culturedesk/2010/09/life_is_good_day_2_backstage_w.htmlIt's a comin'!

I've been told that Lupo's might have a no-camera policy, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of footage at Mohegan. I didn't think I could be more excited for next weekend but clearly I was wrong.

No cameras doesn't necessarily mean no taping.

No cameras doesn't necessarily mean no taping. I'm not clear on how somebody could tape the show without a camera...?

With a tape.

I'm guessing he means someone should bootleg it with an audio recorder, though I usually find that no camera rules usually go hand in hand with no recording equipment rules.
But you are right. There will be video of Mohegan. There is always video of the Mohegan shows floating around.

Riiiight. Well, when I see "no cameras" I usually take it to mean "no recording equipment of any kind", but we'll see.

Recording equipments are easier to hide than cameras.

straying away from the less than legal side of things for a moment, and being the self-elected "USE THE WIKI" advocate, I am wondering if some of you, you know, use the wiki? Because, most of the information that was covered on the first page of this thread is...on the wiki.

The first page was RIGHT after duende came out. There wasn't a wiki page when I started this thread, I think

Actually, the first post of this thread pre-dates the Duende video by a couple of months so was definitely before there was an existing page on the wiki for the album or any songs.
And, yes, most of us do use the wiki but Brad had indicated that he wanted to avoid a page of speculations on the new album. This forum seems a perfect place for it. Isn't that what forums are for after all?
Personally, I love the wiki. For some things. And the forum for others.
